FLORENCE — Robert Kelvin “Kal” Vaxter, 45, of Florence, formerly of Batesville, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, in Florence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Enon M.B. Church in Batesville with Minister Barbara Vaxter Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in New Enon Cemetery. Eddie Robinson Funeral Home in Batesville is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Oxford, he was a mechanic and member of New Enon M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father, James C. Vaxter of Batesville; sisters, Barbara Vaxter Humphrey of Batesville, Jeaette Vaxter Jones and Eurlene Vaxter Patton, both of Memphis, Tennessee.
