OXFORD — Ruby Frazier Barrios, 75, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Annette Ford officiating. A private family graveside service will be held on Sunday at Crittendon Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion, Arkansas. Visitation is on Saturday from noon until service time at Waller Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Crawfordsville, Arkansas, she was a retired equipment operator at Caterpillar and a member of Taylor United Methodist Church. She was happily married for 56 years without a night passing when she didn’t fall asleep holding the hand of the only man she ever loved. She and her husband were engaged after knowing one another only seven days and were married in Orange, Texas, six days after they were engaged.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Bobby and Billy Frazier and one sister, Doris Philyaw.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Barrios of Oxford; a daughter, Cheri McManus of Oxford; a son, Lester Allen Barrios of Fleming Island, Florida; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
