INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — Jessie Mae Burt, formerly of Oxford, 79, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon at Barnes United Methodist Church, 900 West 30th Street, in Indianapolis with burial in New Crown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Lavenia & Summers Homes for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.

A homemaker, she is survived by son Danny Lee Burt Sr. of Oxford; daughters Addie Green of Oxford, and Robin Burt and Loretta Johnson, both of Indianapolis; two brothers, Floyd Patton of St. Louis, Missouri and Gus Booker of Pearland, Texas; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
