Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi recently kicked off its annual campaign with a goal of raising $200,000 to support clubs in Lee, Lafayette, Union and Tippah counties.
Ted Moll, resource development and annual campaign chairman for BGCNMS, announced $102,000 had already been raised toward the $200,000 goal.
Zell Long, chief professional officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi, thanked those donors who have already made their campaign commitment and encouraged other community members to join the campaign.
“We are excited about conducting this formal annual campaign. We are grateful for the support we have received, and hope other individuals and businesses in North Mississippi will join our efforts to help the most important asset we have — our children, “ Long said.
Beginning now until March 31, Moll and his committee of more than 30 volunteers will contact individuals and businesses in the four-county area served by Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi.
“We are confident with Ted’s leadership that our communities will rise to the occasion, and that we will successfully reach our campaign goal,” Long said.
