ABBEVILLE —  Frances Deloris Houston-Moore, 61, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, in Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at North Oxford Baptist Church with burial in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and family hour from 6-7 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Homes of Oxford, which is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Lafayette County, she was a retired direct care worker for North Mississippi Regional Center and also a retired line operator for Emerson Electric where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of New Hope M.B. Church.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Moore of Houston, Texas; daughters Taressa Moore of Sardis and Annette Gipson of Abbeville; brother Rosco Houston of Oxford; sisters Rose Mary Houston, Elizabeth Buck, Laura J. Tallie, Marilyn Nicholson, Carolyn Jones, Sharon Martin, Essie Houston and Barbara Bolden, all of Oxford, Constance Howard of Racine, Wisconisin and Barbara Washington of New Albany; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
