WATER VALLEY — James Turner, 83, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oak Grove C.M.E. in Water Valley with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Serenity-Daniels Funeral Home in Water Valley, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Water Valley, he worked most of his life in the factory industry.

He is survived by his son, James E. Turner of California and daughter Lucy Polk of Water Valley; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
