Jack Louis Wheeler

OXFORD – Jack Louis Wheeler, 68, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at his home in Oxford. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Bain officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until service time at Waller Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired as PIC of Mobile 962 with WoodGroup Production in 2012. A member of the Diamond Backs Motorcycle Club from 1979 to present, he enjoyed riding and working on his motorcycles. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jackie Livingston Wheeler of Oxford; daughters Michelle Renee Wheeler Story of Water Valley and Nicole Michelle Wheeler of Oxford; sister Jaqueline Francis Ward of Georgia; and four grandchildren.
