OXFORD – Rosie Jones, 91, died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at her residence on Molly Barr Cove. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at T.O.M.B. Association Building in Oxford with the Rev. Albert Booker officiating. Burial will be in Yocona Cemtery in Taylor. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-6 p.m. at Serenity Martin Funeral Home in Oxford, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Taylor, she was joined in matrimony to the late Davis Jones. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sons.

She is survived by three sons, L.B. Jones of Taylor, Bobby Jones of Oxford and James Earl Jones of Jackson; three daughters, Rosie Sanford and Carrie Jones, both of Oxford and Ella Scott of Marietta, Georgia; 32 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
