Wishing success to members of local Toastmaster group
I’m presently reading the notices of the Tallahatchie Toastmaster’s meetings in the EAGLE’S community calendar.
I congratulate the members of the Tallahatchie Toastmasters organization. These members are interested in improving their public speaking skills during their present positions.
I was a member of the original Tallahatchie Toastmasters, organized in 1968. I was living in Coffeeville, driving to meetings in Oxford. Our 12 to 15 members met at the U.S. Forest Service building on the Highway 6 bypass. I completed my first 12 basic speeches before I moved to the Bankhead National Forest in Alabama.
Today, I wish success to the current members of the Tallahatchie Toastmasters.
