The Oxford Police Department is investigating an apparent burglary at the Oxford Commons Malco Theater that occurred at 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

However, the suspect who broke in by busting through a side door didn’t steal anything, according to Maj. Jeff McCutchen.

The alleged burglar defecated in a garbage pail and left the business.

OPD is asking the public to help identify the “No. 2” vandal by watching a surveillance video on OPD’s Facebook page. Anyone with information should call OPD at 662-232-2400 or Crimestoppers at 662-234-8477.
