OXFORD – Angela Michelle Liggins-Slate, 45, died Friday, March 11, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Tallahatchie Oxford M.B. Association Building with the Rev. Ronnie Driver officiating. Burial will be in East St. Peters M.B. Church Cemetery in Abbeville. Viewing will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Homes, which is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Lafayette County, she was a supply technician at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi and 1989 graduate of Oxford High School.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Slate of Oxford; daughters April Slate and Aniyah Slate, both of Oxford; sons Jermilon Slate and Isaiah Sltate, both of Oxford; mother Vera Campbell of Abbeville; father Joel Sanders of Oxford; sisters Leslie Hudson of Oxford, Denise Campbell, Catherine Campbell and Patricia Campbell, all of Abbeville; brothers Roy E. Liggins of Abbeville, Joel Boyd and Joe Wimberly, both of Oxford.
