A Lafayette County man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing items from a family member’s home.

Investigators say Antonio Hilliard, 30, was charged with burglary and simple assault resulting from a March 11 incident at a home on County Road 303.

Hilliard was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he is awaiting a first-appearance bond hearing today.
