Man faces felony DUI charge
The Oxford Police Department arrested a 19-year-old man Sunday for allegedly driving under the influence for the third time.
Officers were dispatched to a single-car wreck at the Scott Center on North 5th Street. On arrival, officers determined the driver of the vehicle, Dylan Charles Rikard of Lake Cormorant was under the influence of “intoxicating liquor.”
He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a charge of felony DUI since it’s been his third arrest for DUI within five years. He was held today on a $2,500 bond.
