Man charged following wreck
An Oxford man was arrested Saturday for allegedly being involved in a wreck while under the influence.
According to the Oxford Police Department, a call came into dispatch advising of a wreck Anchorage Road. When officers arrived they said they found Torrey Thompson, 31, was under the influence and a driver of one of the vehicles involved in the wreck.
He was arrested and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $2,500 bond.
