Courtney Leigh Wilburn and Barron Roy Pruitt, along with their parents, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on May 28, 2016, at Foxfire Ranch. All friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony. A reception will immediately follow.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Cathy Wilburn, and Chasity Wilburn and fiancé Sammy Kim, all of Oxford, and the granddaughter of John and Rebecca Smith, George Thomas and Hilda Wilburn.

A 2012 graduate of Lafayette High School, she went on to receive her associate’s degree in nursing from Holmes Community College in Grenada. She is currently employed with Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.

The prospective groom is the son of Timmy Pruitt and Kay Barron and the grandson of Betty and Donald Barron and Sheryl and Hershall Pruitt.

A 2012 graduate of Lafayette High School, he currently works as a police officer with the Oxford Police Department.
