Woman charged with taking $20 bills

An Oxford woman was arrested Friday for allegedly taking a bundle of $20 bills off the service counter at Walmart.
According to the Oxford Police Department, Walmart reported that an unknown female, later identified as Catrina Washington, 52, took the bundle of money when the clerk turned her back. The bundle of money equaled $2,000. Investigators identified Washington after watching surveillance video.
On Friday she was arrested on a warrant for grand theft and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she was booked on a $5,000 bond.
