An arrest was made Wednesday of a man who was reportedly caught using fake money.

The Oxford Police Department charged Jamie Barnes, 24, of Grenada, with false pretense.

Police said Walmart reported someone using fake money to purchase two Visa prepaid cards for a total of $900 on May 10. Video was reviewed and Barnes allegedly was the suspect.

Barnes was given a bond of $1,500.
