Terrorist attack scams begin

The Oxford Police Department is warning residents to be extra careful before donating money to the families of those killed in the Orlando shooting this past weekend.
OPD reported it has received tips that scammers are trying to take advantage of people by calling and asking for donations for the families of those who were killed. OPD suggests those wishing to donate research and find a reputable, legitimate charity before making a donation. Be wary of those calling and asking for donations.
