Public library thief nabs $30

Oxford Police Department investigated a burglary at the Oxford-Lafayette County Public Library this weekend.
According to Maj. Jeff McCutchen, someone broke into the library sometime late Saturday night and stole $30 in cash. There was no damage or vandalism caused to the library. McCutchen said OPD is working with the library to view evidence and surveillance videos to help identify the burglar.
There have been no arrests as of this morning. The case remains under investigation.
