Break-in reported at City Hall

The Oxford Police Department is investigating a burglary at City Hall that took place early Monday morning.
According to reports, someone broke into City Hall through a basement window that was pushed open. Once inside the suspect rummaged through the office and stole $25 worth of silver certificates.
No arrests had been made as of this morning.
Mayor Pat Patterson reported during the Board of Aldermen meeting Tuesday that security cameras were put up inside City Hall after the break-in.
