Due to the Fourth of July holiday, most local government offices will be closed Monday.

All city, county and federal offices will be closed Monday. The Lafayette County & Oxford Library, banks and post offices will also be closed.

Parking around the Square will be free Monday. OUT buses will not run Monday.

The Oxford EAGLE is publishing and delivering a Monday edition; however the office will be closed Monday and reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Garbage routes

Garbage, rubbish and recycling pickup normally scheduled for Monday in the city will be picked up Tuesday by Oxford Environmental Services. Routes generally collected on Tuesday, will be picked up on Wednesday.

In Lafayette County, garbage pickup scheduled for Monday will be picked up Wednesday.
