OXFORD — Ruel R. Hensley, 93, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford with interment in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Lafayette County. Visitation will be on Monday from 12 p.m. until service time at Coleman Funeral Home.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Hensley; six siblings and a great-grandson.

He is survived by daughters Wanda Lynn Hensley Hanks of Labadieville, Louisiana and Cindy Hensley of Oxford; son Tom Hensley of Water Valley; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
