Services for the three Oxford couples who died in a plane crash Sunday have been set, starting tonight with the saying of the Rosary at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

The Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. for Dr. Michael and Kim Perry, who were members of the church, as well as the other two couples, Drs. Jason and Lea Farese and Dr. Austin and Angie Poole. The church’s youth group will provide drinks and refreshments.

The service is open to everyone.

The three couples were attending a dental conference in Florida together, flying in the Fareses’ private plane. On their way home back to Oxford on Sunday, the plane crashed in Northport, Alabama. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The Perrys and Fareses each left behind three children and the Pooles left behind five children.

The Fareses and Michael Perry had local dental clinics and Austin Poole had a dental clinic in Clarksdale. His wife, Angie, was the office manager. Kim Perry was a nurse practitioner who worked part-time at the University of Mississippi.

On Saturday at 10 a.m., a memorial service will be held for all three families at the Tad Smith Coliseum that will feature music, prayer and reflections on those who died in the plane crash.

The University of Mississippi provided the space for the service. The coliseum doors will open at 8:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the Perrys at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John. Prior to mass, there will be a visitation with a rosary at 11 a.m. Mass will follow after the Rosary. The Perrys will be buried in Oxford and reception will be held at the Parish Center following.

Funeral service for the Fareses will be held at the Oxford-University Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Internment will follow for family only.

A memorial service for the Pooles is set for Friday at 1 p.m. at North Oxford Baptist Church.
