An Oxford man was charged Monday with felony malicious mischief for putting a white powdery substance into a woman’s gas tank, which caused significant damage to her vehicle.

Leanti O’neal Thompson, 24, of Oxford was charged with felony malicious mischief and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $5,000 bond.
