An Oxford man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly stabbing another man in what Oxford Police Department investigators are calling a domestic violence crime.
According to reports, OPD received a call to Taylor Bend Apartments for a male who had been stabbed with a knife multiple times. The injuries, however, were not life threatening. The victim and suspect, later identified as James Adams II, 24, were at the main office at Taylor Bend when officers arrived.
The victim was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi for his injuries and Adams was charged with domestic violence with aggravated assault and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $5,000 bond.
