A Brentwood, Tennessee man was arrested Thursday for felony malicious mischief. Investigators say William T. Jones, 21, destroyed 20 mailboxes in the Magnolia Grove and Breckenrige subdivisions. Jones was allegedly caught by an off-duty OPD officer. The officer heard a loud noise and saw Jones destroying the mailboxes.

The value of the damages is over $1,000.

Jones was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $5,000 bond.
