The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors will have a recessed meeting today at 4 p.m. before a Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee meeting that is also set for 4 p.m. in the Chancery Building.

The Board of Supervisors will also meet Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Chancery Building to take up the following items:

•Approve employment of Emergency Management Director.  (Lisa Carwyle)

•Accept bids for LSBP-36(30) for County Road 327.  (Larry Britt)

•Accept bids for LSBP-36(32) for County Road 428.  (Larry Britt)

•Accept quotes for Brittney Woods NRCS project.  (Larry Britt)

•Consider final acceptance of State Aid project SAP 36(24)M located on County Roads 313, 201, 115, and 421.  (Larry Britt)

•Consider acceptance of roads in Phases 2, 4, and 5 of the Highlands.  (Larry Britt)

The Board will then recess again until another meeting Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Chancery Building.
