Oxford area school closings, early dismissals for winter weather

Due to hazardous road conditions caused by today’s winter weather, Oxford School District schools will release students early today, January 6, 2017.
Students will be dismissed at the times listed below:
1 p.m.
- Bramlett Elementary School
- Oxford Elementary School
- Della Davidson Elementary School
- Oxford Intermediate School
- Scott Center
2:30 p.m.
- Oxford Middle School
- Oxford High School
- Oxford Learning Center
School buses will begin transporting students, and parents can pick up their students from school at the times listed above. All school-related events and activities scheduled forFriday, January 6, 2017, are canceled at this time.
Lafayette
Lafayette County school are releasing students at 1 p.m. and buses will leave at 1:15 p.m.
