Carolyn Ramage Morrow

Carolyn Ramage Morrow, 85, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at her home in Oxford. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Buster Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery, but no formal graveside services will be held. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Born on March 13, 1931, in Lafayette County, to the late Mable Mize Ramage and Frank T. Ramage, Mrs. Morrow grew up in the Yocona Community. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She found great pleasure working in her yard and flowers, reading, watching birds and playing bridge. She lived life to the fullest, finding great joy in her family and spending time with friends. She married Joe William Morrow on June 17, 1949, and they were married for 53 years. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Morrow Herrin.

She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Morrow Perkins and her husband, David of Oxford; a son, Rodney Frank Morrow and his wife, Deborah of Oxford; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
