The Oxford Police Department is investigating a car fire as a possible arson.

A car parked in the Mississippi Department of Human Services parking lot Friday night was allegedly doused with gas and set on fire for unknown reasons.

Little details were available over the weekend; however, no injuries were reported. The Oxford Fire Department extinguished the fire.
