Melody Louise Coward

Melody Louise Coward, born June 5, 1988 (28), passed away in her sleep on Saturday, Feb. 25.
Melody had a passion for music and her favorite bands were The Beatles and The Spunk Monkees. She loved sports and frequently watched football, baseball, and basketball games, and she had a particular passion for the Ole Miss Rebels, the New York Giants, and the Manning family.
Other hobbies include watching Fox News, taking pictures and journaling. She enjoyed corresponding with family and friends via social media. She was loved dearly by her friends and her entire immediate and extended family. Melody will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents Mark and Catherine Coward; her sisters — Harmony Coward and Amanda Black, and brother-in-law Beau Black; her grandparents, LTC William Douglas Brandon Sr. and Elizabeth Wallace Brandon; aunts and uncles, Lynn Brandon and Angus Morrison, Ann Brandon, Judy Dailey, Nita Ruth, Joseph Wallace, and David Wallace; cousins Warren and Amanda Brandon and children, Elizabeth Brandon and children, Curran and April Wallace and children, and Kyle Dailey.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at United Funeral Service in New Albany, with service at 1pm on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Rest in Aberdeen. Memorial donations may be made to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
