DEXTER, Missouri — J.D. Wagster, 99, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at Southeast Healthcare of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Missouri, with interment in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Wade Edmundson Wagster and sister, Francis Wise.

He is survived by his son, Larry Wagster of Oxford; sisters Rhoda Launius and Mary Ann Stratman, both of Malden; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
