Miss Jackie Laverne Eads, 55, of Oxford, formerly of Batesville, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.
Jackie was born in Batesville, on Jan. 12, 1962, to Mrs. Margie Jones Eads and the late James L. Eads. Jackie was known, all of her life, for enriching the lives and making happier everyone with whom she came into contact. She was a kind and gentle soul who was always helpful and loving to others. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her sweet spirit.
Jackie leaves behind her loving family which includes her mother and step-father, Margie Eads Pearson (Joe) of Batesville; two sisters, Cheryl Eads Johnson of Harward, Missouri and Linda Eads Dear of Batesville; her nephews, James Johnson of Hayward, Missouri, Walter Dear, Jr. and Taylor Dear, both of Senatobia. She was preceded in death by her father, James L. Eads and her niece Terri Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Dickins Funeral Home in Batesville. Interment will follow in Center Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at 12 p.m.
