One charged for felony theft at Wal-Mart

The Oxford Police Department arrested a Nettleton man for allegedly stealing almost $2,000 from Walmart.

According to OPD, Wal-Mart Loss Prevention signed charges against Christopher Gann, 22, after identifying him as someone who stole $1,835 in merchandise from the store on Jan. 19. Gann was picked up on a warrant in Monroe County and transported back to Oxford Thursday where he was booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
