Vina Mae Williams Sanders, 88, died Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. The graveside service will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Charleston Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Annette Ford officiating. Visitation will be held from 2- 3 p.m. prior to the service at Waller Funeral Home.

Born in Tallahatchie County to the late Thomas Marion and Willie Mae Rose Williams, Mrs. Sanders spent her career working as a nursing assistant. She was Baptist and was active in the WMU. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack B. Sanders and her son, William Allen Sanders.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her daughter, Annette Ford of Water Valley, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
