It’s the second postseason appearance for Ole Miss (17-13) in head coach Matt Insell’s four years at the helm, both coming in the NIT. The Rebels advanced to the third round of the 2015 tournament before being bounced by Middle Tennessee State.

Ole Miss has played in the WNIT eight times and has a 4-6 all-time record in the tournament.

The Rebels have the second-most wins of Insell’s tenure this season. They went 11-2 in the non-conference portion of their schedule before going 6-10 in Southeastern Conference play, placing 10th in the league standings after finishing last a season ago.

Ole Miss lost to LSU in the opening round of the SEC Tournament, 65-49, its last time out March 2.
