Two charged with armed robbery

One man is in custody and a warrant has been issued for another in regards to a reported armed robbery on Friday.

According to the Oxford Police Department, a male victim told investigators that Cory Fulgham, 23, of Vicksburg and Grady Bishop, chased him with a knife, cutting his finger. The suspect said the two then tried to stab the victim in the neck while kicking him in the head while he was on the ground.

The alleged victim said he had a phone, $940 and cigarettes stolen from him during the attack.

Fulgham was picked up and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $15,000 bond. Bishop has not yet been taken into custody and has an active warrant for armed robbery.
