WATER VALLEY — Samuel “Sam” Price Hollowell, 80, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with burial to follow in Anchor Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 12 p.m. until service time at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, which is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Erma Dennis Hollowell of Water Valley; sister Lavelle Littlefield of Oxford; brothers Shirley Hollowell of Taylor and George Hollowell of Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
