OXFORD — Kirby Ellis Bishop, 66, died Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home with interment to follow at Yellow Leaf Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, from 12 p.m. until service time at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Sharp; brothers Max Bishop, Dean Bishop, Jimmy Bishop and Lyle Bishop; and sisters Zara Bishop and Laney Raines.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Bishop of Batesville; daughters Chand Bishop of Oxford and Michelle Little of Birmingham, Alabama; brother Donald Bishop of Waterford; sisters Buelah Hosey of Magee, Clara Thomas of Bruce, Nina Percell of Batesville and Reta Jackson of Oxford; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
