WATER VALLEY — Ruthie Levora White Wright, 87, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at her home in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017, at 12 noon at Bayson Chapel Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 11 a.m. until service time at Bayson Chapel Church. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Major Wright; sisters Rose Austin, Mattie Finch and Annie Mae Woodard; brothers Charlie White, Winston White and Leslie White.

She is survived by daughter Ruthia Wright of Memphis, Tennessee; son Charles Wright of Water Valley; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
