Grenada man charged with credit card fraud

- On Wednesday, June 28, 2017 investigators of the Oxford Police Department served an arrest warrant for two counts of credit card fraud to Alan Avery, Jr. (22) of Grenada, MS. Avery was accused of taking two victims’ debit cards without the cardholders’ consent. Avery bond was set at $5,000.00.
A Grenada man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly stealing debit cards.
According to the Oxford Police Department, investigators served an arrest warrant for two counts of credit card fraud to Alan Avery Jr., 22, of Grenada.
Two victims claim Avery took their debit cards without the cardholder’s consent.
He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $5,000 bond.
