The Oxford Police Department arrested a local man Wednesday for allegedly using the company credit card for personal use.
On Monday, the owner of Bridge Properties filed a report with OPD claiming an employee, identified as Steven Pettit, 38, of Oxford, fraudulently used the company’s Home Depot credit card from Aug. 2016 through Monday, for a total amount of $3,823.
Pettit was picked up Wednesday on a warrant and charged with felony false pretense. He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $5,000 bond.
