Bobbie G. Cheney Turner, 47, died Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at 4 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary A. Johnston Bowie.

She is survived by daughter Amanda Cheney of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son Cody Schmitz of Water Valley; brothers Jeff Cheney of Etta and Joe Cheney of Oxford; sister Anna Cheney Taylor of Water Valley; father Bobby Cheney of Oxford and grandmother, Dorothy Gardner of Oxford.
