James “Jimmy” Bruno, 49, died Friday, August 4, 2017, at Methodist University Hospital in Olive Branch, MS. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Hope officiating. Burial will follow in Abbeville Cemetery. The visitation will be held Monday evening, August 7, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born to Margaret Arnold James and the late James Vincent Bruno, Sr., Jimmy was a sales representative for West Tennessee Crown. He was the Southwestern Sales Representative of the Year four times, a member of the Canadian Club Society four times, and he was the 2016 Diaggio Salesmen of the Year for the state of Tennessee. Jimmy was a member of First Baptist Church in Abbeville, MS. An extreme Ole Miss football fan, he epitomized the term “Hotty Toddy”. He had two miniature schnauzers, Colonel & Sophie who he loved very much.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lynn Bruno of Abbeville MS; his children, Anna Marie, James Anthony and Vincent Louis Bruno of Abbeville, MS; his mother, Margaret Arnold James of Grenada, MS; and sisters, Lisa B. Thomas of Grenada, MS, Carla B. Alderson of Oxford, MS and Diana B. Rumrill of Rainbow City, AL.
