Mr. John Wallace Russum, II, 58, died Saturday, August 19, 2017, at his residence in Olive Branch, MS.

Mr. Russum served eight years in the United States Air Force. He served as a staff sergeant.

Upon leaving the Air Force, Mr. Russum worked at FedEx as an Off Loader. He is also a former member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd; Olive Branch). A funeral service will be held Friday, August 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his son John W. Russum, III, of North Tonawanda, NY; his daughter Jennifer Russum of Charlotte, NC; his mother Wilma Russum of Memphis TN; his sister Pamela Yancey of Collierville, TN and his life partner Karen Larimore of Olive Branch.

In honor of Mr. Russum’s service to our country, the flag of the United States Air Force will be flown at Coleman Funeral Home.
