Mrs. Rhonda Simmons, 53, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017, at her son’s home in Oxford, MS.

Mrs. Simmons was born in Grenada, MS.  She was described as a one-of-a kind and very special person.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Carrollton, MS.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m., also at Liberty Baptist Church.  Interment will be at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Fish Robinson and Bro. Deshone Thompson will officiate.

She is survived by two sons, Joshua (Crystal) King and Corby King, both of Oxford; four granddaughters, Kaitlyn King of Orlando, FL, Maddison Simpson of Kissimmee, FL, and Alexis King and Kylie King, both of Oxford; one grandson, Joshua King of Oxford; one sister, Brenda (Buddy) Gregory of Louisville, MS; and a host of aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Simmons and Joy Dean Simmons; and one brother, Michael Simmons.
