Shea Patterson’s hot start to the season continued Saturday.
Ole Miss’ sophomore quarterback had 489 passing yards in the Rebels’ 45-23 win over Tennessee Martin, setting a school single-game record. Patterson broke the previous record of 465 set by Chad Kelly against Auburn last season.
It’s also a career-high for the former five-star signee, who surpassed the 429 yards he threw for against South Alabama in the Rebels’ season opener last week. Patterson also threw a career-high five touchdown passes and has completed 60 of 78 passes for 918 yards with nine touchdowns and one interception this season.
