Ole Miss men’s basketball’s recruiting momentum continued Wednesday.
Perry Hall (Baltimore) forward Anthony Higgs gave his verbal pledge to the Rebels, becoming Ole Miss’ third commitment for the 2018 class. Higgs announced his commitment with a post to his Twitter account Wednesday morning.
The 6-foot-8, 200-pound Higgs, a consensus three-star prospect, joins Florida guard Serrel Smith and junior college wing Brian Halums in the Rebels’ 2018 class. All of their commitments have come in the last three weeks.
Ole Miss will lose forwards Justas Furmanavicius and Marcanvis Hymon to graduation after the upcoming season. The Rebels have three available scholarships remaining for the 2018 class.
