Ole Miss gets commitment from Alabama cornerback JaKorey Hawkins

Ole Miss added another commitment to its 2018 recruiting class Wednesday.
Alabama cornerback JaKorey Hawkins announced his verbal pledge to the Rebels with a post to his Twitter account. The 5-foot-11, 188-pound Hawkins, who plays for Robert E. Lee High in Montgomery, is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Hawkins is Ole Miss’ 10th commitment and the first cornerback pledge in the class. Eight of the Rebels’ commitments are on the defensive side of the ball.
