Cowboy Maloney’s closed Thanksgiving; opening early Black Friday 2017 with deals

It’s almost time for Black Friday sales 2017, with deals on electronics, home appliances and more at retailers including Cowboy Maloney’s.

But don’t expect Cowboy Maloney’s, Mississippi’s leading electronics retailer, to be open on Thanksgiving Day. For the second year in a row the Maloney wives have ordered that Cowboy Maloney’s locations including Oxford will be closed.

Betty Maloney, Rhoda Maloney and Sharon Maloney are the wives of Cowboy Maloney’s owners Con Maloney, Eddie Maloney and Johnny Maloney.

“Thanksgiving Day is for families to spend time together,” said Betty Maloney.

All Cowboy Maloney’s locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day 2017, but they will be ready for business early in the morning on Black Friday with specials.

“Starting Black Friday, at 7:30 in the morning, the boys will have outstanding Black Friday specials for you while they last and you can see them in the Thanksgiving Day paper.”

Since Cowboy Maloney’s is a family business, they held their Christmas Party for their associates in October at the Mississippi State Fair, hosting around 450 associates and family members to a night of rides, food, and fun with their families.

Con Maloney said, “Being in retail, we know how tough it is to find time to take off in December so we have our Christmas Party in October.”
